The World Wars happened inside of 31 years, creating a global shock-wave that still affects us to this day. Learn more about the aftermath of the Second World War in Berlin, from the destruction of the city to rebuilding the economy and social order—and the creation of the Iron Curtain. In the Netherlands, learn more about the battles that led to the country’s liberation before travelling to Belgium and gaining deeper insight into the Battle of Passchendaele and the impact of war on the Flemish front.
