The EF Travel for Credit program offers students an innovative way to earn high school credit while exploring the world. By embedding a highly-curated travel experience within the Civics & Careers course, classroom learning comes to life through hands-on, real-world experiences. Ottawa, Montreal, and New York City serve as a backdrop to help students understand governmental systems, and to explore a variety of career options while developing the skills, strategies, and habits to succeed.
  • Day 1: Depart from home

    Visit Parliament Hill

    Transfer to New York City by coach bus

  • Day 6: New York City

     Visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

    • Marvel at the 151-foot model engineered by Alexandre Gustav Eiffel, of Eiffel Tower fame
    • Explore the Ellis Island Immigration Museum

    Visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum

    Attend a Broadway show (based on a select list of current shows) 

  • Day 7: New York City

    Take a guided tour of Wall Street and the Financial District, led by Wall Street insiders
