The Science of Sustainability in Northern Iceland
From March 18–27, learn how Iceland’s rich natural wonders help drive the region’s push for renewable energy and sustainability. Explore sites such as the iconic Blue Lagoon and Langjökull Cave’s ice sculptures before visiting historic locations like the Höfði House—the location of the famous Reykjavík Summit meeting. You’ll also catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, a brilliant natural light display best observed at night.
Summit Leadership Conference:
Join other teachers and students in Reykjavík for a two-day leadership conference, March 21–22. Hear from world-renowned speakers on business and energy, attend expert-led workshops and gain valuable insight into the future of energy.
Using design thinking—a creative problem-solving technique used by companies such as Apple and Google—international teams of students will create and present solutions to pressing challenges facing the future of energy.
