Panama City, Chitre | PAN

Our A+ Tour collection features exclusive educational programming and immersive experiences that you can only get through EF–they are rated exceptionally high by educators who travel with us.

On Experience Panama, you will start by exploring the remnants of Panamá Viejo, the first European settlement on the Pacific coast, before fast-forwarding into modern life in Panama City. Assist a local scientist in their field work at a tropical research centre, travel to lesser-known Chitré to visit a farm, and try your hand at pre-Columbian painting during a workshop led by a local artist. And of course, no tour here would be complete without the chance to marvel at the passage of ships through the locks of the famous Panama Canal–the only crossing point between the Atlantic and the Pacific for a long, long while. Come to beautiful, bountiful Panama–its lush landscapes and fantastic flora await.
