Adult supplement
EF’s published Program Fees are based on student rates for flights, land transportation, admissions, accommodations, etc. EF welcomes adults (those older than or who turn 23 years old while on tour), but must charge a per person flat fee of $90, plus $30 per day of the tour, to cover the difference between student and adult rates for accommodations and admissions. Adults will also pay an additional $60 per night for the sea portion of their tour on overnight ferries and cruises.
Airport code
This refers to the three letter code of an airport. For example, Toronto Pearson International Airport is known as YYZ and Calgary International Airport is known as YYC.
Airport transfer
EF groups are provided with motor coach transportation to their first EF hotel, and transported to their departing airport from their last EF hotel.
AP Tours
Working with the Advanced Placement Program of the College Board, EF has created several tours to supplement a curriculum of AP English Literature, Canadian History, U.S. History, European History, Biology, French and Spanish. Note: Travellers on an EF AP tour do not earn AP credits. Students interested in earning such credits must take the AP exam(s).
AutoPay
EF’s free automated payment plan allows participants to pay for their tour in convenient monthly installments. The total balance is divided by the number of months before the final payment is due. The participant’s checking account or credit card will be charged on his/her choice of the 7th, 14th, 21st, or 26th of each month. If participants choose to purchase other tour items, such as special travel arrangements or optional excursions, EF will automatically adjust the monthly payment amount. EF's monthly payment plan aims to make educational travel more manageable and affordable for our travelers.
Showcase your EF tour experiences with students, family and friends with a hardbound photo journal.
World travel opens my students’ eyes to the much larger vista of the globe. I’ve seen students moved to awe in great cathedrals or struck dumb by the majesty of nature’s beauty.
