Ensuring the richest, most authentic experience for your students is made possible because of our connection with leading social change, innovative, educational and historical organizations.
Canada's History Society and its magazines, Canada's History Magazine and Kayak: Canada's History Magazine for Kids, bring the people and events that have shaped our past to life. Entertaining content and expert information help teachers to engage students as they prepare for a Canada's History Tour at home or abroad.
The Vimy Foundation
This national foundation has a mission to preserve and promote Canada's First World War legacy as symbolized by Canadian victory at Vimy Ridge. EF travellers participate in onsite interpretation and special events, with scholarships available for academic/community leaders. Having made a $100,000 contribution towards the new Vimy Education Centre, EF contributes $20 for every student who travels there.
Operation Veteran and the Canadian War Museum
EF’s partnership with Operation Veteran gives students access to an exclusive program that offers a personal understanding of our history, while paying tribute to our veterans at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.
Youth Science Canada
For over 50 years, Youth Science Canada has been sparking a passion for science among Canadian youth, with programs that encourage them to improve the world through science and realize their potential. YSC promotes EF’s Science & Innovation tours and Leadership Summits to educators who are a part of the organization.
As the Canadian charity that makes cities more livable, Evergreen believes that we can solve today’s critical environmental challenges by bringing diverse groups of people together, inspiring them with ideas that engage them to take action. EF works collaboratively with Evergreen to create and provide workshops for our Science & Innovation Summit programs both in Canada and internationally.
Organization for Tropical Studies
The perfect complement to EF’s “learning by doing” philosophy, OTS’s three biological field stations in three distinct Costa Rican ecozones introduce students to key questions in modern tropical biology, along with language skills and cultural orientation.
Costa Rica’s Earth University prepares young people from Latin America, the Caribbean and other regions to contribute to the sustainable development of their countries. EF Science & Innovation Tours allow students to visit and view eco-friendly, commercially viable initiatives, such as a perio-urban garden, commercial banana plantation and waste management enterprise.
