Vimy 105: The Route of the Maple Leaf
What was it like to go to the front lines during the World Wars—to embark on the journey from Britain to the coast of France and march into battle? Follow in the footsteps of the brave men and women who became our first line of defense in the First and Second World Wars. Starting in London and then ferrying across the Channel to Calais, explore WWI sites in France and Belgium. Travel to Normandy to walk on the beaches where the Allies landed on D-Day, and add a trip to Berlin to get a better understanding of the impact of the war with a visit the Cold War Spy Museum and Sachsenhausen concentration camp.
