• A remarquable experience !

I am definitely travelling with EF and doing the same itinerary. The cities were amazing and all the landmarks visited were breathtaking. The hotels were very cleaned and the breakfasts delicious !

  • Spanish fiesta!

Overall excellent tour with multiple cities visited - wonderful opportunities to explore Spanish culture and historical areas, especially in Granada. Would have liked more time in Peniscola to explore such a quaint town. Trip to Gibraltar was amazing additional adventure!!!! Hotels and accomodations kept improving as vacation went on. Food choices and restaurants could have been better as was too generic and bland - had to eat on own to appreciate Spanish food.

  • Summer tour

The main tour guide as well as the local tour guides were fantastic. The food was ok but not great. For the cost of the trip, I would have expected better accommodations. All in all I would give the trip a 4 out of 5 stars.

  • Priceless

This tour was amazing, we were able to see so many amazing historical sites. We learned so much history and were able to stand in the same rooms as Christopher Columbus.

  • Awesome trip

We had an awesome time on this trip and it definitely gives you a great value for the money as you see 7 cities. It’s a lot of travel so you do spend a lot of time on the bus but it definitely maximizes your experience. Our time in Barcelona was amazing and the Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell and flamenco show were awesome but my absolute favorite was our add on of the bike ride and paella lunch. The bike ride was so so much fun and the food at the lunch was astounding. They give you so much! Our time in Valencia was okay but kind of disappointing because the museum we were supposed to go to closed early after our tour director had already called the day before to confirm our appointment and we missed out on it. The city of arts and sciences that is there is really cool but it felt like a bit of a drive to miss out on that museum which isn’t Ef’s Fault however it was something we were looking forward too. Our time in Marbella or Costa del Sol was awesome and the boardwalk and free time there was amazing. SO much to see and relax too and we really enjoyed the break. Granada was beautiful and we loved the Alhambra. The Arabic baths and massage add on everyone raved about and truly enjoyed. It is insanely amazing. The mosque in Córdoba was really neat too and our local tour guide was absolutely fantastic!!!! I really enjoyed her tour. Madrid is a really cool city and I wish we had more time there. The tapas and tunes was okay. I wasn’t overly impressed with the food and the band had an incident where they couldn’t be there. I thought it would be a really cool authentic experience but it was disappointing because this also happened to our group leader last time he took a tour to Spain so it was almost a bit of a joke. Overall the tour is a ton of travel and walking but I would recommend it if you truly want to see all of Spain. Our time at lunch felt pretty rushed and its hard to find a place, grab the food, eat and get back in time when its a half hour to 40 minutes so it might be better to say this Option 1,2, 3 or something like that to choose for lunch so people know where to go. There were a few times we were told we could take pictures in specific places or we would be able to do something specific and it turned out it wasn’t accurate but overall it just relies on flexibility and it was fine. We did stop in a little rest stop that was designed from the time of Don Quixote and that was super cool to see as well as The Royal Palace in Madrid!

  • SO-SO EXPERIENCE

GOING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY I DID NOT THINK THAT WE WERE JUST GOING TO LOOK AT THE OUTSIDE OF AMAZING STRUCTURES OR TAKE A BUS RIDE STRAIGHT THROUGH A TOWN. AT THE BEGINNING YOU THINK GOING TO SO MANY CITIES WILL BE GREAT, BUT THEY ALL STARTED TO BLUR INTO THE NEXT AND NO ONE KNEW WHERE WE HAD BEEN.

  • Stressful

All airplane rides felt like I was in prison. Had a bladder infection the day after I returned due to prolonged sitting in a cramped seat and not wanting to disturb others to go to bathroom. Inadaquate electrical outlets in hotel rooms. Food repetitive and bland except for first two breakfasts. Buses often dropped us off too far from hotel requiring long walks with luggage. One bus dropped us off and then didn’t come back for us in Mijas. Local guides often difficult to understand. Only a few of the buses had electrical chargers and none of the buses had a bathroom. On the bright side, Jorge, our guide, was wonderful.

  • Could have been better

Electrical outlets in hotel rooms were inadequate.
Food was repeated and tasted bad.
    Cramped airplane seats...no space.

  • So fun!

I had a lot of fun on this trip. Our tour guide was amazing and overall all the places were really beautiful. The hotels were good, so was the food. Only thing I wish could change is that I wish we could’ve stayed in fewer places for a longer duration of time at each.

Spain and Portugal are amazing. Barcelona not so much. Wish we hadn't spent so much time there. But all the other cities were beautiful and fun. Especially Gibraltor and the monkeys. Highly recommend this destination.
