The Shared Trail
Travel to Camp Acxwulaxw to participate in the Shared Trail Program which focuses on perspectives in reconciliation between Indigenous Nations and the Nation State of Canada through the context of the Syilx Nation.
Participate in immersive workshops and guided reflection sessions to learn about Syilx history, culture, worldview, and contemporary perspectives. Afterwards, travel back to the City of Vancouver, located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations—together forming part of the Coast Salish peoples. Spend time learning about Coast Salish history and culture.
