This trip was well worth the money spent, we did everything and saw everything. We had to take a bus to Milan to get on a train to Venice because the trains in France were on strike causing us to be two hours late but our tour director was able to fit everything into our schedule and Ef made it up to us with free gondala rides and an upgraded meal. I would definitely like to travel with them again!

Trip of a lifetime
This was an amazing experience for all. Our TD made us feel comfortable and safe immediately. He was attentive and detailed. Our group was a combination of students from three different states. Everyone got along beautifully and life long friendships were made. This trip far surpassed expectations.

My daughter and I took this trip with her high school art class. It was well organized, fun, educational and well worth the money. My only "complaint" is that we didn't spend more time in several museums and other locations. Our guide, Felicity, was wonderful, knowledgeable, funny, and very caring about making the trip an experience to remember. I give this experience with EF my highest recommendation!!!

After hearing about this opportunity, I was very excited and determined to go. The meetings my school held made the trip seem like such an amazing experience. However, when the actual adventure began I was shocked. More than half of the stuff on the itinerary was tweaked. We were told that we would have free time to shop and explore but we were unable to due to the lack of organization. The EF tour leaders were very clueless and claimed to have guided many past tours but still managed to get lost, thus using up all our free time. In fact, while we were in london, we missed out on the london eye, and shopping because we spent our time walking in circles. To most people on this tour, shopping was very important so some of us skipped dinner to go to one little souvineer shop. Also, we were told we would be able to see Piccadilly Circus, and the Eiffel Tower. What we didn’t know is that we would be seeing it through a window from the inside of a bus or only getting out to see it for 10-15 minutes. We never got to go to the top of the eiffel tower and didn’t even get to see it sparkle at
night. Anthoner thing is that EF tours claims that our money covers everything except lunch, and spending money, but we had to pay for the gondola ride, river cruise, and entrance into the shakespeare’s globe. We were told that although they weren’t on the itinerary, it was still required and not optional so BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR EXTRA STUFF. Due to th trip being so unorganized, I asked many questions that either did not get answered or was answered with a completely wrong answer. All in all I absolutely loved Europe and I hope to one day return but I HIGHLY do not recommend EF tours. EF tours was very unorganized and irresponsible and I wish I would’ve saved my money to go by myself. I was very disappointed in the way things were handled and especially since this trip had almost 3 years to be completely planned minute by minute.

It felt like we were on the "Amazing Race" and did not have time to enjoy much because we were always rushing to the next activity. Students wanted to climb the Eiffel Tower, but we did not have time because we had to hurry off to another site.

No time allotted for injured or sick travelers. Guide wasn't concerned with lost kids or if anyone fell behind the group. The amount and speed of walking made it impossible to enjoy anything. No concern for getting travelers across busy streets without getting hit by cars. Food provided by EF was horrible. Only good food were from restaurants found on our own. Very little free time, if any, for shopping and exploring. Guide kept us in the dark about what was happening or what to expect.

Could Have Been Better
Overall I would say that the tour was good, but could have been better. I feel that it was executed poorly. The bus, and walking tours were really a waste of time. Instead of spending most of the day ridding a bus around town, we could have done that on day one to familiarize ourselves with the city, so that on day two we could have hit the subways and went and saw everything we wanted. Instead, the bus rides and walking tours were spread out over a two day period that really got in the way of letting us do what we wanted. I found the walking tours to not only be unnecessary, but downright abusive. We walked for miles and miles, and never really saw anything. They were completely pointless, if you ask me.

It was an amazing experience
Everything appeared to go smoothly and we had an amazing tour guide that handled everything well

My group had a wonderful experience. Our tour director was attentive, organized, and very knowledgeable. He was able to give us information on best places to go during free time. In one city, our director assisted me in finding a specific souvenir. When the location of the shop was difficult to explain, he personally walked me to the area. I felt this was above and beyond his duties - as his free time is used for preparing the next section of the trip.
Some areas that could improve:
- several tour guides did not speak English (one not really at all)
- hotel selections could be closer to our destinations. While I realize this is a cost factor, and our hotels were very nice, we lost a tremendous amount of time in traffic commuting into city centers. Paris was the worst - one day we lost 2 hours the other over 3 1/2 hours.
Overall - a fabulous experience!

Experience of a Lifetime
My freshmen year of high school I never thought I would've signed up for an EF Tour, but I did. One thing I can say to that if that I don't regret it one bit. There are somethings in life that you just can't take back and that was one experience that I'll remember for a lifetime. One person that made all of it happen was our outstanding tour director. She wasn't just a tour director though. She was our friend, more like family actually. I couldn't imagine having a different one rather than her. She made everything happen in one click of a button. She had a planned list of what we were going to do for each day and if something couldn't happen she'd pull something out of thin air to substitute that blank space. When I saw the amount of money that this trip was I sure thought that it was a lot of money for the trip. But honestly it was well worth the buck. I was amazed at the quality hotels we stayed at during our overnight stays. It was good that we didn't stay in the big cities because I'll give you one good example of the fantastic little community we stayed in that was outside of Rome. It was quiet, beautiful, cultural and worth the experience. I can finally say that this trip was a memory that will last a lifetime just as I said before. I'm going on another EF Tour my senior year in 2018. It's my second of many more travels to come in the future. I wish all the travelers the best of luck on their adventures and journeys.
