I had a great trip to Costa Rica, which was a new country for me. I loved everything except the long travel days to and from CR.
I had never been whitewater rafting, kayaking, or snorkeling before, and I had fun. Ziplining was great, too.
I loved seeing reptiles, mammals, and insects in the wild. It was fun to spot them from a boat and from the bus. A baby boa constrictor slithered across a path right in front of us while we were hiking to see sea turtles! We saw monkeys (and heard them) and sloths!

Awesome Costa Rica
What a great trip! I loved the animals, the local tours, the adventures (ziplining, whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking, snorkeling) the people, and the food in CR. Our tour director was fun, friendly, and smart. He knew about birds, reptiles, mammals, insects, and had a good eye for spotting them in the wild. He was amazing, and I learned so much.
I was excited to see the green sea turtles on our Tortuguero night hike: we saw a turtle come into shore, another prepare a nest and build a chamber, another lay her eggs (they look like pingpong balls!), and another camouflage her eggs then return to sea. Awesome!
I got to play soccer with CR boys and dance with the girls at the local school we visited. All that was in the first two days of our tour!

Courageous in Costa Rica
I feel very empowered after my trip to Costa Rica! I never thought I would zip line or white water raft, but it was part of our tour, I figured it was the chance of a lifetime, so I did them. The guides were very knowlegable, professional, helped us know just what to do and we had a blast. Then there were other activites that didn't take bravery to do but were just as amazing with kayaking Lake Arenal, snorking in a small bay in the ocean, walking the 500 steps of Fortuna Falls (more like 520), jungle boat cruises looking for wild animals and turtle watching in Toruguera. One of my favorites was stopping at a local produce stand and sampling around 20 different fruits of the area. I want to go again & bring the rest of my family (7 of us have been at least once, 2 more to go!) Pura Vida!!

Amazing Trip and Highly recommended
This trip allowed me to see how eco-tourism is essential for this country and how countries are able to turn from being a killing country (animals) to a conserving country and be just a profitable, if not more.

this trip was the greatest experience! the most fun i’ve ever had. the tour guide we had was absolutely amazing. i will say, if you are very use to AC and perfect living conditions (no bugs outside or lizards or wild animals) this tour is not for you. if you love adventure, seeing the wild life up close, and being able to truly experience the lifestyle and the environment this is the perfect tour for you. the hotels we stayed in were great. the first one didn’t have any AC and was in the middle of the jungle so the view made up for the warmer temp inside. every other hotel had great ac and we’re great quality. all of the people we worked with and interacted with were so kind. i didn’t have anything stolen or taken even when i forgot to put my valuables
i loved this tour so much i’m coming back in 2 years to experience costa rica again!

This was an adventurous fun filled experience. Every moment was packed with new, exciting thing to see, smell, feel, hear, taste, and plow through. Our guide was exceptional, an educated Costa Rica wickapedia! Ask a question and the answer was given with additional information. Our guide was patient, organized, and resourceful. My personal "high" was what we were doing at that moment in time on that
particular day. In other words I loved the water events, hiking, excursions, zip-lining, parks, eating, sleeping, and the "surprises" that came each day. The bus was comfortable and the driver extraordinaire. The company of youth were on the most part very exemplary in their decorum and dress. One leader in particular seemed very involved in the care of the youth, as was the guide.

What a great experience!
I feel so fortunate to have been able to get to this country. This was such an extraordinary experience. The learning was absolutely enhanced by the Tour Director and the places we went were enriched by his knowledge, but also by the fact that everything there was so gorgeous!

Our trip was great, we saw so many things, from one side of Costa Rica to the other. Diego was the reason, his expert planning and organization was the best. If you can go to Costa Rica do it.
