Awesome memoriesThe entire tour went off as planned. Actually one bonus was summer weather at the end of March. My child is still mentioning moments 8 months later, with a sparkle in her eye, while she recalls events. A definite building experience for 'character' and 'self-confidence'.
Good Trip, but with Some FlawsEF Tours was a pretty good tour experience overall. The food was amazing, the sight-seeing was also very good. However, I found that there were a few too many educational stops. I like museums, but I can see the same thing here. I would have liked to go to more places that could only be found in Chicago. Also, as much as I wanted to see as much Chicago as possible on our short trip, I found that the mornings were too early, and the nights too late. We were all very tired every day. EF Tours is a good experience, but there are some details that I think need revising.
Chicago: The Windy CityOverall the tour was great but I just was not a big fan of Chicago in general. Had been to New York the year before and enjoyed the city much more. Not enough interesting shopping in Chicago and the bus tour and river tour duplicated a lot of the information - we did not need both. Also a short tour (only 4 days) so it felt rushed--no personal time to explore.
