Green Tours: Eco-educational tours

Green Tours

EF Educational Tours is moving the classroom outdoors! Green Tours will challenge your students to put their environmental ideas into action while instilling in them a sense of global citizenship. These eco-educational tours will help you broaden your teaching platform and connect in a hands-on way with your students.

Green Tours have been designed with the help of educators from across Canada to provide students with the chance to make a difference in the world. EF’s collaboration with Evergreen, Canada’s leading environmental organization connecting schools and communities with nature, ensures that every aspect of Green Tours is both educational and entertaining.

Featuring Nobel Laureate Al Gore!

EF Educational Tours is proud to announce the addition of Nobel Laureate Al Gore to EF’s Earth Day Environmental Conference for Youth on April 20-21, 2013. The 45th Vice President of the United States and a bestselling author on environmental sustainability, Mr. Gore will connect students with the modern challenges of climate change and motivate them to put their environmental ideas into action. As the co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, received for “informing the world of the dangers posed by climate change,” Mr. Gore will bring an inspiring message that will enhance the learning experience for students and teachers alike.
